Candidates for this position must have successfully completed an approved Electrical Line Worker program and have Journeyman experience. ENGINEERING AND BUILDING SERVICES TECHNICIAN: Full-time hourly staff member to assist in all phases of construction inspection, surveying, drafting and application of building, codes, ordinances, and engineering design standards. Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering technology required with two years of progressively responsible engineering experience in construction, building codes, and inspection preferred. A combination of education, training and experience may be considered. General knowledge of construction and engineering principles, practices, methods, techniques, codes, tools and equipment used in technical engineering work in office and field, including CAD, calculations, surveying and inspection work desired, but not required.
