President's Report While bustling through the annual SDML Conference last month, I started really thinking about serving as your Board President for the next twelve months. And, I have to admit, the thought took my breath away – mostly because I’m excited to be taking on this new challenge. This is a big job! Where do I start? When I was little girl, my mother always told me to strive for excellence and dream big. So, as I was sitting at the table during the Excellence in Municipal Government Luncheon, I thought about all the remarkable things going on in South Dakota communities. I looked around the room and recognized that I was surrounded by talented, dedicated and bright individuals.
