What is Volleyball?
Volleyball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world with a global fanbase of over 674 million. It’s regularly the most watched team sport at the Olympic games, and the 3rd favourite sport on TV worldwide. Volleyball has a social media audience of 18+ million, with 4 billion social impressions in 2023 alone. It’s one of the most inclusive sports as it involves 4 different disciplines; indoor, beach, snow and sitting volleyball, appearing in the Olympics and Paralympics, with Beach Volleyball appearing as an additional sport at the Commonwealth Games.

About Scottish Volleyball
Scottish Volleyball is the governing body for all levels of volleyball in Scotland. Our membership has continued to grow, and we now work with more than 105 affiliated league teams throughout the country.
The aim of our organisation is to continue the growth and development of volleyball and helping bring the sport to the public eye by supporting our clubs, making volleyball easily accessible and showcasing the top talent domestically while also representing and developing on a national level.
Everything we do is underpinned by our values of fairness and respect, and we strive to make sure everyone feels like they are welcome in our community.
Our Leagues + Cups
SVL and JSVL are our national volleyball leagues for Seniors and Juniors. They include teams from Shetland all the way down to Ayr, playing in regular weekly matches that culminate in our Premier Play Offs for our Senior Premier teams. The Scottish Cup and Plate is knockout competition where finalists play at our National Cup Finals, hosted every year on our special taraflex flooring in Edinburgh.

A title sponsor for our Senior Leagues, Junior Leagues, and Scottish Cup and Plate for the 2024-25 season and beyond
What can we offer?

Our senior and junior clubs are based all over the country in most major cities, providing an excellent geographic spread to target new customers.
Our senior leagues take place over 14 dates throughout the year while our juniors are on 10 - providing a regular and consistent avenue for promotion.

We have an almost 50/50 gender split in our membership, allowing you to target potential customers equally!

We have a primarily young membership demographic, allowing you to have targeted access to a young audience. Volleyball is a family sport - many of our members have young children who are involved as well!
Streaming
We have a growing following on our Youtube and Facebook pages, with our Youtube subscribers increasing 76% in just one year!
We’ve developed our production value immensley in the past 3 years; we were on the BBC Sports’ Red Button when we hosted the CWG qualifiers in 2022, and are currently in talks to create a TV partnerhsip for our premier leagues... watch this space!
