At Scott Dunn we have always believed that what makes a holiday truly amazing is the unique experiences you can have, hence why we’ve put together this collection.

What you find thrilling is so personal. I for one love nothing more than getting my blood pumping with an activity I wouldn’t do at home. Powder skiing is my passion but equally there is so much more I want to do like paddling through crashing rapids. However, I also take great pleasure in those moments when you can just stop, and absorb your surroundings, which is why exploring remote parts of the world like Alaska or the stark wilderness of the Bolivian Salt Pans is so appealing. And sometimes it’s the more simple things like exquisite culinary treats or having a local guide who really gets you under the skin of your destination.

When it comes down to it, the things we really remember and treasure about a magical holiday are the experiences we have. It’s the moments when you stop and think wow, this is something really special. It could be a wildlife encounter when you can’t quite believe just how close you are to that primate or the rush of excitement when a whale shark surfaces and you spot it for the first time. For ski junkies nothing beats the thrill of flying through feathery powder with the wind in your face or you might still think about that adrenalin surge as you paddled through white rapids on a churning river. Some people love nothing more about travel than really getting under the skin of the countries they visit, so meeting a monk in an ancient temple and learning about him and his way of life would be an absolute highlight.
