Our role What is the ultimate purpose of a school? And how can we best prepare young people for the world that awaits? For us, it’s about showing our boys and girls first what’s possible and then empowering them to ‘become’ the possibility; to discover and at the same time unearth what’s around and within them. This is what the school experience is all about; where the real value lies. In fact, real, is a word you’ll hear us use often around here. Why? We believe ‘real’ speaks to the dynamic, joyous and imperfect – sometimes even messy - nature of learning. It means you’ll find us talking about the humanity of education, the value of laughter, the importance of happiness and equally the need for our boys and girls to experience challenge and discomfort too. It means we’ll have great conversations, honest conversations and sometimes tough conversations.
