Making possible. pathways

“It takes COURAGE to grow up and become WHO YOU REALLY are.”

- E. E. CUMMINGS

AT SCOTS PGC, we help our boys and girls to ‘become’ by providing opportunities that help them to find and fulfill their potential.

Regardless of the pathway they choose to pursue, what’s important to us is that we’re able to support our boys and girls as they journey towards their future. That they can find what they enjoy doing and

discover what they’re good at.

A belief that we needn’t be one type of school, over another,

means we hold all pathways in high regard. And it’s why you’ll find some of our students achieving exceptional results in the

academic arena, some excelling in school-based apprenticeships or traineeships and others completing a qualification to get them

‘workplace ready’.

At SCOTS PGC, becoming isn’t defined by a rank, a certificate or a

result. It’s defined by the courage and commitment to follow your

own path.

No two adventures are the same. Whether flight or farming, the arts or law, we’re here to help students discover what makes them happy.

CAREER ACTIVATION.

Our students regularly attend university experiences to take advantage of the real world insights they provide, like USQ’s Aviation Experience.

A VOICE OF SUBSTANCE.

Speaking in front of a captivated audience, Joshua Bailey shared his views on stopping the spread of nuclear weapons at the UN’s Youth Voice Competition. The event requires students to present ideas and solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems.

HARVESTING SKILLS.

Real world learning is about connecting with community. Here our hospitality students serve guests at the Southern Downs Harvest Lunch hosted on local property, Melrose at Killarney.

FROM 20 NANNIES AND A BILLY TO A 200 STRONG

ENTERPRISE. Boarder, Clay Armstrong, now finds himself running Barcoo Boer Goats and pursuing his passion for pasture management all while attending boarding school.

BOND AND BEYOND.

Our students go on to pursue various pathways, Tom - our 2018 College Captain - received a scholarship to study business and law at Bond University.

CREATIVE GENERATION.

Past student Paean Sarkar’s single channel digital production, Exploring the Abstract Concept of Space, was exhibited by GOMA as part of the Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art.
