Initially known as Letterfinlay Lodge the hotel has long enjoyed something of an international reputation among guests from across the UK and mainland Europe, especially Germany, for its Highland hospitality and easy access to country sports such as hunting and fishing. Overlooking the scenic Loch Lochy, which at around nine miles long and 70 m (230 ft) deep is the
