Dieses Streichquartett habe ich für meine Tochter geschrieben.

Alle Arten von Vibrato sind grundlegend erwünscht, allerdings ist es mir ein besonderes Anliegen bei der Darbietung, dass das Vibrato ein bewußtes sei, kein automatisches. Arten, die ich persönlich schätze, sind entweder sparsames Vibrato, oder auch gar keines. Kein Vibrato ist z.B. bei komplizierten oder schwierigen Zusammenklängen hilfreich.

"Schmetterling an meinem Fenster" wurde in einer Form geschrieben, die ich früher in meinen konstruiertesten Stücken verwendet habe. Diese Form breche ich am Ende des Stückes auf, als sei ich als Komponist ein Schmetterling, der sich vom Raupenstadium befreit und zu fliegen versucht.
