The women enter with grass-cutting tools.

The women finish their work and withdraw. Áile is left alone.

The bear is circling around Áile in the shadows. She can´t see him.

The bear appears from the shadows.

Áile is afraid, withdraws from the bear.

The bear approaches Áile little by little.

Áile approaches the bear.

She caresses the bear's fur gently – again and again.

Sii ohcet Àile –diimmuid, beivviid, vahkuid.

The tribe is seeking for Áile.

Welcome scene continues. The sons are dancing.

The people come to rest because Áile has returned and brought them her sons.

The oldest son finds his grandfather's spear. It is covered in blood.

The son gives the spear to his mother.

Áile recognizes the bear's (her husband's) fur.

Áile tries to kill herself. Her youngest son stops her.
