On November 7th, 2020 Senator Kamala Harris made histor y as the first black Vice President-Elect of the United States of America. This is a huge leap in histor y and many Americans including myself feel empowered and inspired. I have always looked up to the black leaders in my community, and when I heard the news about Senator Harris, I felt so enthralled to learn more about her career in politics. I am so excited to share with you on how I feel about Senator Harris and her achievements. On November 7th 2020, Senator Harris was voted as the Vice-President of the United States. This is a huge leap in histor y because she is the first black Vice President of the United States of America. She has influenced many young people since she made the accomplishment, especially black girls like myself. Senator Harris has not only influenced me, but she also made me feel proud and inspired. On November 7th, when Senator Harris was voted as the Vice president-elect of the United States, she made histor y as the first black Vice President- Elect in this countr y.
