Class Reader: Reading (Of Mice and Men, Noughts and Crosses or Animal Farm) - Students will read a 20th century novel with a focus on character development.

Photography: Introduction to the project - Students will follow a portraiture theme for their Photography project this year. Students will begin the course by taking portraiture shots of their fellow students.

Summer Term Art: Developing Ideas - Students will be asked to use information and techniques practiced in the earlier stages of the course to create their own pieces of work. The work should show links to the chosen theme of portraiture and to their chosen artists.

Photography: Developing Ideas - Students will focus on the research completed in the earlier stages of the course and work in the style of their chosen photographers. They will mimic process content and form in their own images created.

Programming project - Independent creation of a text adventure game using design, implement, test, and evaluate structure.
