Our mission is to make our school a better place by organizing exciting events, promoting school spirit, and advocating for positive changes. We work closely with teachers, staff, and administration to create a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.

Promote Personal & Social Development - Help organise and promote activities that support students’ personal development, well-being, and SMSC (Spiritual, Moral, Social, and Cultural) growth, ensuring everyone feels included and valued.
Champion British Values & Citizenship - Lead discussions and initiatives that foster understanding of democracy, the rule of law, indivdiual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance for people with different beliefs and backgrounds.
Encourage Equality & Inclusion - Support and participate in activities that promote quality, ensuring all students understand the importance of embracing diversity and respecting each other’s unique characterisitics.
Develop Character & Positive Behaviour - Act as role models by demonstrating integrity, cooperation, and resilience, and encourage peers to reflect wisely and learn eagerly in all aspects of their school life.
Charity - Help plan, promote and run fundraising events for local/national charities.

Our values are the same as our house, when we show positivity, ambition, resilience and thoughtfulness we earn points for our team!
Empowerment - Student council members are empowered to contribute to decision-making processes, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for their educational environment.
Skill Enhancement - Members of the student council develop skills such as public speaking, negotiation, event planning, and conflict resolution that are transferable to various aspects of their lives.
Charity - By participating in the student council, students gain first hand experience in democracy, civic engagement, and the importance of being an active member of a community.
Positive School Climate - A wellfunctioning student council can positively influence the school climate by addressing concerns, promoting inclusivity, and fostering a culture of respect and collaboration.

Our Student Council is made up of our student ambassadors and student leadership team, they work together and this promotes responsibility, encourages school spirit, and helps improve the school environment through initiatives and activities. Ultimately, it gives students a chance to make a positive impact while preparing them for future leadership roles.
