Who is the session for?
This session is for school leaders who have not worked with Teach West London before.
Session aims:
▪ To provide you with an overview of the opportunities available through Teach West London
▪ To provide you with an opportunity to ask questions

Initial Teacher Training

If your school is interested in offering a placement to a trainee(s) in 20262027, please make sure you have registered interest with us here.
▪ We are an accredited ITT provider
▪ 108 trainees were awarded QTS in July 2025 (Primary, SEND and Secondary)
▪ 120 trainees have started training with us in 2025-2026
▪ Over 90 West London schools offer valuable placement opportunities
▪ School-based – in your school 4 days a week
▪ Many go on to be employed by their placement school

Early Career Teacher Programmes
▪ We are a delivery partner for UCL’s Provider-Led ECT and Mentor programmes.
▪ High-quality local training for ECTs and Mentors
▪ 97% of Teach West London Year 1 ECT participants are currently satisfied or very satisfied with the UCL Programme.
▪ Programmes are fully funded and funding is available for mentors to engage with mentor training

Appropriate Body Service
▪ We are the sole provider of Appropriate Body services locally.
▪ Supporting 1300+ ECTs and 280+ Schools
▪ We are experts in statutory guidance related to ECT induction (Early Career Teacher Entitlements)
▪ School feedback on our training for the year is 100% Good + and 91% rate our training as excellent.
▪ All schools employing ECTs have to register with an Appropriate Body
We are responsible for:
▪ Quality assuring the support ECTs receive
▪ Quality assuring the assessment of ECTs (is it accurate and fair?)

▪ We are a delivery partner for UCL’s NPQ programmes
▪ We’ve successfully trained over 1400 professionals since 2021.
