Dear Parents/Carers, As you know, as part of the ‘road map’ for relaxing lockdown, the Prime Minister has announced plans for a partial re-opening of primary schools which would see pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 making a phased return. However, any re-opening of schools will not take place until it is absolutely clear that the infection rate has subsided to such a level to ensure a safe return. The earliest the school would be open is following the half term break. Whilst we await further guidance from the Department for Education – let me assure you that the safety of our pupils and staff is of paramount importance and we will not re-open until we are 100% sure that it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we remain open for the children of key workers and will continue to provide home learning packs for all children to supplement the wealth of web-based learning available.
