Year 2 Spring 2 Homework Here is the homework for this half term: READING - EVERY night for a minimum of 15 minutes. Please use the questions in the Reading Book Bands guide we sent home to encourage your child to explain their understanding of what they have read. Comprehension is an important reading skill in Year 2 and one that will be assessed at the end of the year. Children should have their reading journal in school every day. SPELLING – each Friday there will be a spelling test using the weekly spellings below. MATHS - Practice the numbers bonds and multiplications at the back of the reading journal for weekly ’25 club’ tests. (NB these do not need to be handed in) - See the mymaths website for the homework. HOMEWORK PROJECT – See the additional sheets for this term’s exciting homework project! It needs to be completed and handed in on or before Friday 21st June 2019.
