Weekly prayers May

Monday 11th May – We remember Saint Ignatius.

Brother Ignatius consoled the sick and cheered up the lonely. He made peace between enemies, converted people hardened by sin and advised those in trouble.

St Ignatius. Pray for us.

Tuesday 12th May – we remember St Pancras who was a martyr at only 14 years old.

St. Pancras, pray for all teenagers that their faith may be as strong as yours, strong enough to lead them through all the trials of their life.

Wednesday 13 May – We remember Saint John the Silent.

St. John the Silent was a Christian saint known for living alone for seventy-six years. He was given the surname because he loved recollection and silence.

Thursday 14th May – We remember Saint Matthias.

Saint Matthias was chosen as the 12th Apostle after Judas betrayed Jesus.

Saint Matthias, pray that we may become worthy witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus in the way we live the eternal life we have right now.
