In this season of Advent we have been focussing in school on how we prepare for Christmas. The Armstrong Choir, Chapel Choir and musicians provided beautiful musical accompaniment to an incredibly moving service at our Community Carol Service at St Paul’s in Adlington last week. In school our Year 7 pupils raised our spirits with their Christingle worship and all year groups are entering whole heartedly into ‘carols in the quad’. This week we welcome senior citizens and local residents to our Community Christmas party, run by the pupils in Year 10 involved in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Preparations are also underway for our end of term services in school, all of which help us to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

We hope they take some time to relax and recharge their batteries over the Christmas period!
