Instructions:
• Choose and complete at least 6 activities over the course of the half-term.
• Hand in through Seesaw or bring into school.
• Each piece will be worth 1-10 house points.
• We expect you to complete each homework task with care.
• We expect you to complete each homework to the best of your ability.

Tudor House
What did houses look like in 1666? Use creative materials to make your own Tudor house!
Poetry Writing
Write a poem about spring. Describe what you can see, hear, smell or touch. Use your spring walk for ideas.
Dragons Den
Using creative resources of your choice, can you make a dragon? You could even write a description of your dragon to go with it!
Keeping Ourselves Healthy
Draw a picture /create a poster to show how to we can wash our hands and why we should.
Postcard to a Friend
Visit a new place or think about a place that you have already been. Draw a postcard of your place and pretend you are sending it to a friend (or you could actually send it!). What did you do while you were there? What was the best thing you did? What did you eat?
Great Northbrook Bake Off
The Great Fire of London started in a bakery owned by Thomas Farriner. Visit a bakery and make a list of the different things that a bakery sells.
Bonus: With a grown up, can you bake something you might find in a bakery?
Fire Safety
Make a fire safety poster to teach people how to stay fire safe in their home and what they can do to keep safe.
Historically Significant Individual Research and make a fact file about Samuel Pepys and what he did during the Great Fire of London
Coin Matching
Open a baker’s shop! Draw a range of things you might find in a bakery and label them with prices. Can you match the correct coins to the items in your bakery?
Plant Collage
Make a collage of a plant and label the different parts.
Plant Diary
Plant a seed or bean at home. Keep a diary of your plant’s growth and how it changes over time.
Children’s choice
Have your own homework idea linked to our topic or what we have been learning about. Extra points for creativity.

• Practise handwriting.
