 Final payments are due by Friday 29th March

This year we will be most likely be in the new block.

Girls and boys will be in separate areas.

Drying rooms are on the ground floor.

Staff rooms are on both the ground and first floor.

Organisation

MONDAY 3rd JUNE (MORNING):

Please ensure that you arrive at the church for 7.55am. Please also ensure you have been to the toilet.

All luggage is to be left by the side of the coach.

Miss Debling will register you and help you board the coach.

If you have any medication, please hand this to our designated medication staff member (clearly labelled with name and dosage) before boarding.

If you have any extra money for a souvenir, please hand this to Mr Marston (in a labelled envelope clearly showing child’s name and amount of money) before boarding.

NO CHILD IS TO BOARD THE COACH WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF A MEMBER OF STAFF.

FRIDAY 7th JUNE (AFTERNOON):

We aim to be back at the church at 4:00pm. If there is a significant delay, you will be notified.

Medication:

All medication must be in a sealed bag or envelope with the child’s name and dosage clearly marked.

If your child is prone to headaches, stomach aches etc. please provide necessary medication.

If your child requires travel sickness pills, these must be provided and dosage clearly stated.

If your child has developed an illness/medical condition since filling in the medical form, please update us.

We will be taking child paracetamol with us (e.g. Calpol) so you do not need to send this unless they cannot have this type of pain relief.

Souvenir Money

OPTIONAL (These were the costings for last year)

Please bring pocket money (max £10) in a labelled envelope clearly showing your full name and amount of money

 Every evening (weather permitting) free time in the playground, awards, tuck and hot cocoa!

Things to take

 Packed lunch for first day

 Clearly named luggage

 Hindleap Hoodie (please wear this on the coach Monday morning)

 Waterproof coat, waterproof trousers and wellies (For Forest Adventure & Obstacles Activities- you MUST have these and they will get very muddy! Please be aware that these 2 activities often happen on different days so children may have to re-wear these during the week.

 Waterproof coat- for the clean activities in case of wet weather. (Children should therefore have 2 waterproof coats for the trip- one for clean wear and one for muddy wear!)

 Long socks to wear with wellies

 Long sleeved T-shirts/Jumpers/Sweatshirts (For Archery, High Adventure and Climbing Wall)

 Tracksuits/combat trousers/ leggings (As Archery, High Adventure and Climbing Wall)

 Old Hoodies

 Old trainers for outdoor activities

 T-Shirts

 Shorts (In case of hot weather)

 Clean clothes for evenings- for outside games and walks in the forest

 Small water bottle (for evening only) to take drink of water to bed if needed

 Indoor shoes (trainers, slippers, flipflops etc)

 Toiletries (PLEASE NOTE NO AEROSOLS)

 Towel (for shower)

 Sun lotion (If hot weather forecast) and Bug spray and sting relief (if the mosquitoes are out!)

 2 thick black sacks (CLEARLY NAMED) for carrying home wet/dirty kit and to assist packing for the return journey. VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE PUT NAMES ON AS MANY ITEMS AS POSSIBLE.

 Mobile phones

 Any electronic items

 Digital Cameras (All group leaders will take plenty of photos)

 Any aerosols, including deodorant

 Chocolate or chewing gum

 Anything expensive
