Lomeshaye Life What a fantastic week everyone has had at school. The weather has been lovely to us too which has been great news. We have had some classes exploring our garden area and getting familiar with the creatures that live over there, while others have made wonderful efforts with their learning in and around school. Well done to everyone that attended school over the last week. Our third assembly of the school year has been our best one yet. This week the whole school attendance figure was 98.7% which is OUTSTANDING news. What is even more impressive is that two classes achieved 100% attendance and those classes were 4 Sycamore and 4 Willow. Congratulations to everyone that made it to school this week. I hope that these figures continue to remain high throughout the whole school term! Year 4 Swimming— It was my great pleasure to walk to the local swimming baths this week to accompany some of our Year 4 boys during their swimming lesson. The boys were excellent ambassadors for our school while walking up through Nelson Town Centre and they crossed the roads very safely—well done! It was a superb swimming lesson too, with lots of progress being seen by the swimming teachers. Keep up the great work Year 4.
