Regularly address and sometimes devise historically valid questions and hypotheses. Give some reasons for contrasting arguments and interpretations of the past. Acknowledge contrasting evidence and opinions when discussing and debating historical issues.

Identify and name the main parts of the human circulatory system, and describe the functions of the heart, blood vessels and blood. Recognise the impact of diet, exercise, drugs and lifestyle on the way our bodies function (in the long term and short term). Describe the ways in which nutrients and water are transported within animals, including humans. Explore the work of scientists and scientific research about the relationship between diet, exercise, drugs, lifestyle and health. Observe/measure changes to breathing, heart beat and or pulse rates after exercise.

Use, read and write standard units of length, mass, volume and time using decimal notation to three decimal places. Interpret and construct pie charts and line graphs and use these to solve problems. Solve comparison, sum and difference problems using information presented in all types of graph. Calculate and interpret the mean as an average.

Ask and respond to questions that are more causal e.g. What happened in the past to cause that? How is it likely to change in the future? Interpret a wider range of geographical information and maps including scale, projections, thematic, and digital maps. Recognise an increasing range of Ordnance Survey symbols on maps and locate features using six-figure grid references. Recognise patterns in human and physical features and understand some of the conditions, processes or changes which influence these patterns.

Sing songs in unison and two parts with clear diction, control of pitch, sense of phrase and musical expression. We will play tuned and unturned instructions with control and accuracy. We will practice and perform with an awareness of the audience.

Understand and apply the principles of a healthy and varied diet. Choose ingredients to support healthy eating choices when designing our food products. Prepare and cook a variety of mostly savoury dishes using a range of cooking techniques.

Independently select, use and combine a wide range of software on a variety of devices. Design and create a range of digital assets such as programs, systems and multimedia content for a defined purpose and audience.

Dance: To explore and improvise ideas for dances in different styles, working on their own, with a partner and in a group. To perform more complex dance phrases those communicate character and narrative. OAA: Follow a simple course using eight points of the compass and mark on a map the position of a ground.

As Rights Respecting citizens we will focus on: Article 24 The right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment and information to help you stay well. Article 11 The right to be protected from kidnapping.

Wow Factor and Outcomes We will create stop-motion animation using our original artwork and by combining media created using a range of different apps on the iPads.
