Award Action Plan (School Led) - SENDIA, Version: 31/08/2018 23:54pm Lomeshaye Junior School Lomeshaye Junior School is situated in an area of social deprivation within the town of Nelson, Lancashire. School caters for children aged between 7-11 only and there are currently 360 children on role, 99% of whom are of Pakistani origin. We currently have 114 children in receipt of Pupil Premium and have an increasing number of child protection and looked after children cases. We have 12 classes, 3 per year group, as well as a Learning Leaves class which is dedicated to diminishing the difference between children across the school and their peers in the core subjects of Maths and English. The most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2017) reports that school has maintained its rating of good. There are currently 47 children on the SEND register, two of whom are in receipt of an EHCP.
