Lockdown Procedure Welcome We hope that your visit will be enjoyable, informative and safe. Please help us by reading and complying with the guidance contained in this leaflet. Littleport and East Cambs Academy is committed to Health, Safety & Safeguarding, and require that all staff and visitors share this commitment and understand what is expected of them.

Mobile Phones Please ensure that your mobile phone is not in use in areas where there are children. If you need to make or receive a call, please ensure you are in a designated area; staff room, office, reception or meeting room.

Security All visitors and contractors coming in to the Academy must report to the Main Reception. Here you will sign in on our Inventry system. Depending on the nature of your visit you may also be issued with a lanyard. If you are working with the students, you will also be asked to produce your DBS certificate and/or other forms of identification which we will hold on our single central record. Your visitor badge must be visible at all times.

Please sign out at the end of your visit. and return your lanyard (if applicable).

Photographs Visitors are prohibited from taking photographs whilst on the Academy site, unless requested by a member of staff and only using Academy equipment. (not mobile phones).

Smoking Littleport & East Cambs Academy is a smoke free site.

Health & Safety Contractors must ensure that they are fully conversant with the safety rules and regulations to be observed whilst working on site. You have a responsibility to ensure that your actions do not endanger the young people in our school.
