Who leads well-being?
Hello Based off our parent questionnaire, some of you are unfamiliar with who the lead of wellbeing is within our school, so I thought I would introduce myself…
Young Carers
My name is Angharad Curtis and I am currently leading all well-being initiatives throughout the school I teach full time in Year 5 and 6 and also lead all classes from year 3 up I am passionate about helping each and every pupil meet their full potential, both academically and mentally and emotionally. We not only support our pupils in school, but our whole community. If there is anything I can help with, please come and say hello on the yard or contact the school for a cup of tea and chat
Roots of Empathy
Roots of Empathy is up and running thanks to our wonderful volunteer family, Mum, Mia and baby Reya The children love the sessions and are learning so much about empathy and human development. Thank you for giving up your time to help our pupils learn.

In Libanus our pupils' well-being and happiness is a priority for us as we know that without happy children, there is a limit to what we can teach and they can learn. We endeavour to provide our pupils with the best learning experiences and opportunities as possible Therefore, we are always reflecting upon practise and aiming to improve on what we currently do in school. A collaboration of senior staff, teachers, pupils and governors walk through the school exploring focused questions This term we focused on our humanities and health and well-being areas of learning.
