

Residential Visits 2025
At Libanus Primary we believe that our curriculum needs to be holistic and develop the whole child. We believe that residential visits provide our pupils with the opportunities to develop a range of personal and social skills. They also provide pupils with experience of a range of adventurous and cultural activities. All pupils had the opportunity to attend the following residential in 2024;
Year 3 – Cardiff Urdd City Sleepover (1 night)
Year 4 – PGL Liddington (2 nights)
Year 5 – Dolygaer (2 nights)
Year 6 – Llangrannog (2 nights)
Cardiff Urdd City Sleepover
Year 3 pupils had the opportunity to visit Cardiff Bay and stay in the Cardiff Urdd Centre in March 2025 for 1 night. During the visit they enjoyed a boat and walking tour, bowling and visited the Senedd and Techniquest.



PGL Liddington
Year 4 pupils had the opportunity to visit PGL Liddington in May 2025. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including canoeing, climbing, abseiling, giant swing, zip wire, campfire and problem solving.



Dolygaer
Year 5 pupils had the opportunity to visit Dolygaer in May 2025. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including Gorge Walking, Climbing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Crate Stack, Zip Wire and Hill Walking.




Llangrannog
Year 6 pupils had the opportunity to visit Llangrannog in June 2025. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including archery, high and low rope courses, obstacle course skiing, horse riding, trampoline, swimming, go karting and quad biking.
