Grant Spend 2023-2024
Pupil Development Grant (PDG)
• The school currently has 340 pupils.
• 13% of pupils are eligible for Free School Meals
• Thetotal allocation of thePDG to Libanus Primary School for April 2023 to April 2024 was £41,400 which included theEarly Years PDG.
• Theplanned expenditureeach year is detailed in theSchool Development Plan which is approved by theGoverning Body and South East Wales Education Achievement Service (EAS)
• Thegrant is used to employ Teaching Assistants who support Free School Meals pupils in accessing thecurriculum.
Professional Learning Grant
• Welsh Government provide schools with funding to support Professional Learning to support schools in developing staff This is in accordance with theTeaching and Leadership Standards and theimplementation of theCurriculum for Wales.
• Libanus PrimarySchool has been awarded £5,921.This will be spent to allow staff to:
1. Engage with theTeaching and Leadership Standards.
2. Engage with Professional Enquiry.
3. Access leadership programmes,
4. Participate in regional and cluster curriculum meetings.
