Support for Cambridge Nationals and Cambridge Technicals We are offering all centres teaching Cambridge Nationals and / or Cambridge Technicals a FREE advisory call to support your Year 10 and Year 12 students with their continued study during the lockdown.

You will be put in touch with one of our Assessment Specialists who will support you with guidance on the best delivery of internally assessed units whilst teaching remotely.

AMSP: Summary of online courses on offer during Summer Term 2020 AMSP has produced a range of online resources, as well as online courses – these can all be found at www.amsp.org.uk The AMSP website also outlines the full range of online professional development and ‘on-demand’ professional development available to all teachers. During this time of lockdown, schools (this includes those not on the Priority Lists) need to register to AMSP https://amsp.org.uk/register Anthony Edkins (Ofsted Inspector and AMSP Maths) has been involved in writing teaching and learning materials aimed for GCSE Level 4+ students – these are generally enrichment materials. These can be found at https://amsp.org.uk/resource/year-10-support These have been written to address the gaps there will be in current year 10 pupils’ knowledge and skills, because of a lengthy school closure. Anther group has also written resources for year 11 to help with their transition to A Level Maths – these can be found at https:// amsp.org.uk/resource/gcse-alevel-transition-resources All details of what AMSP can offer can be found at https://amsp.org.uk/resource/gcse-alevel-transitionresources This time of school closure is perhaps an excellent opportunity to make use of any relevant professional development offer.
