As Charlie tries to get back into the music business, he gets bogged down babysitting David’s unruly daughter Gabrielle (Frankie Hervey) in a bid to get closer to his friend’s wife, fellow DJ Sara (Piper Perabo), to quicken his career ignition.

A new comedy produced by, and starring, Idris Elba (Luther, The Wire) on Netflix, Turn Up Charlie is a new and different Netflix show. The main character, ‘Charlie Ayo’ (Elba) is a washed up middle-aged DJ who has lost his previous fame from a big 90’s hit, and is now trying to find his way back to former legendary status in the show. He becomes re-acquainted with his childhood best friend, David (JJ Feild), his DJ wife and troublemaking daughter, Gabi.

The HNC Echo is written for students, by students. It is a core part of our Student Voice, with our writers independently developing their own ideas and content. Please note therefore that the magazine contains the individual views of our young people, and any views expressed are not necessarily those of Huddersfield New College. We hope you enjoy the creative efforts of our students.

He struggles to balance time sorting out Gabi’s overly ‘adult’ self-centered antics with music, and as he goes he encounters a new generation of DJs and musicians. He tries to be trendy and reboot his life with music as he is tugged in many directions by friends and fans.

Aiming to prove his success to his parents, brother and hard-working aunt, Charlie begins to become a parent figure to Gabi as he tries to undo the underlying distress making her difficult, finding she is not so lucky to have a pair of successful

parents as they struggle to manage their time with her.

Using this bond to help her open up, he helps her try to fall into place in school and find a friend, whilst he rebuilds his own life, essentially becoming responsible for her.

Going through the eight-episode series, Charlie must keep the goodwill of his parents, aunt and David’s family, where he has to constantly change everything about himself.

It’s not a game-changer, but it is a refreshing break from the usual dreary tone of modern TV, bringing some youth to the scene, as Idris takes centre-stage when on screen. His outgoing, slightly arrogant charisma makes this series perfect to binge in prep for spring as vivid, cheery vibes brighten every episode of the first season.

The previous two seasons started with bad blood between Ruth and Debbie and Debbie struggled to cope with her newborn baby. Assigned as lead of the team, she created an impossible workload for the similarly struggling Ruth, whilst the rest of the group - consisting of failing actresses, working-class mothers, and a mysterious wolf-lady tore itself apart with hilarious arguments and disagreements.

The dysfunctional group had to work to impress sponsors including naïve rich-boy ‘Bash’, ending on a heart-warming climax in a cleverly written final episode. In the second season, the group battled adversity to keep from falling apart, with bonds tested at every corner.

A new member entered the ranks as new romance attempted to blossom, whilst Bash looked to find himself after a loss and Sam found an unexpected connection with one of the girls. Meanwhile they practised doubly hard as an ensemble to produce awesome feats of skill in their female wrestling show. Ruth tried to grow as a person in her sadness and become more prominent in the team, as the coldness with Debbie tried to thaw.

In the final episode, a surprise finale completes a show-stopping bout with a spectacular explosion of vivid eighties girl power.

In summary, if you want a well-deserved break from dark and depressing TV, this is the perfect watch with friends to get hyped for summer, festivals and concerts, or even just to get a laugh whenever you feel down.

I would recommend you watch this if you have any time between the other great shows new this year, but it would not be my go-to show.

Right now, we have no confirmed release date for a new series, but with the previous vivid and diverse and frankly kick-ass seasons already released, I’ll bet it’s not just me hoping this will come back bigger than ever as soon as physically possible next year.

Massively popular, and an instant cult classic, Stranger Things took the world by storm in 2016 with its release as a unique block-busting science-fiction story combining horror, thriller, comedy and romantic aspects to create an awesome, unexpected story about friends, family and the power of childhood.

The “Jeddah Tower” in Saudi Arabia is scheduled to be completed in 2020. This structure will become the tallest man-made building at a height of 1 Kilometre tall, beating the Burj Khalifa.

2025: The Giant Magellan Telescope

With 80s nostalgic motifs and styles, including set pieces in arcades and a high school, the show gets the viewer reminiscing.

The 80s vibe boosts nightmarish and dream-like scenes to an epically retro level of gripping intensity. The classic Spielberg wonder is brought to light with many brilliant techniques inspired by his work; clichés of his works- such as gangs of loser kids, speedy bike rides and a dash of product placement- rousing memories common to great movies like ET.

Tear-jerking moments of joy are then contrasted by disturbing, inexplicable events just like the jaw-clenching horror of Stephen King, and ‘IT,’ always keeping the watcher on their toes.

The show has resonated with many ages, though, and has not only been a hit with eighties kids, but also became an immediate phenomenon in the younger community, with child actors making up the major roles, including ‘Eleven’ (played

by Millie Bobby Brown), ‘Mike Wheeler’ (Finn Wolfhard), and many others.

The rest of the cast is composed of young and older adults such as ‘Steve Harrington’, played by Joe Keery (my personal favourite, as the softer-than-he-looks bully), and the unforgettable David Harbour as chief of police ‘Jim Hopper‘.

‘Steve Harrington’, played by Joe Keery planet. The plot orbits around how a close crew of his pals - as well as Will’s family and a lonely Sheriff - battle to retrieve him unharmed, whilst the mystery of wild child Eleven - and the group she originated from - must be uncovered to save him.

Season 2 was based around the aftermath of the first season and a new, ominous power. This brings a great number of new characters with their own story threads, relationships and ties so each episode gives new stakes, and you never know who will be friend or foe.

The Giant Magellan Telescope is scheduled to be completed in 2025. It will be the largest observatory in the world and have at least 10x the power of the Hubble space telescope.

This will allow all sorts of new discoveries to be achieved.

2026/2027: Mission to Mars www.spacex.com

We may finally see the SpaceX mission to Mars launch in the year of 2026. In 2027 the crew will finally arrive at Mars, meaning we might witness the first ever humans to set foot on the red planet. If SpaceX fails, NASA has their own plans in 2030 to launch their own mission.

This is predicted to be the first summer where there won’t be any ice in the arctic, if environmental factors are kept as they are now.

These analytics are sparking controversy about saving our planet from global warming.

However, there is controversy that suggests if we are powerful enough to colonise another planet, why aren’t we powerful enough to fix our own?

At the current rate, by this point 50% of the Amazon Rainforest will have been destroyed. Countries will have to work harder to stop deforestation and to keep the environment in a stable condition. About 70% of the population will live in cities, and about 50% of global population won’t have access to clean water at all. Possibly hundreds or thousands will be planning to work or live on Mars at this point too.

This is a huge astronomical step for mankind as Earth one day may be uninhabitable due to human actions. However, there are many drawbacks to this happening, such as the nine-month journey, landing and becoming self-sufficient energy/water, and maintaining a new government.

This female-lead show allows for a brilliant expression of womanhood with all types of women, whilst not being too political; bringing the girls into the centre of the action. Equal shares of smartly choreographed fighting (in many forms) and banter in the gang creates a realistic and vibrant atmosphere where the characters seem to have real relationships.

You feel intertwined with the group as the actresses seem to encourage the others to bounce witty comments and hilarious interactions off each other, with the chemistry of the group bringing you right into the action.

Here at College, we have many talented artists, both students and tutors, and it is interesting to see how their styles of work vary along with the processes they use to create their art. Each artist has their own unique style and way of working and these are constantly evolving and improving as more work and practice is completed.

What advice would you give to someone who would like to start creating art?

“I would say give it a try, anyone can create art and you don’t need a particular talent or gift to create it.”

“Don’t try to work in a certain “style” too early. It’s good practice to find work by established artists that you admire but don’t get stuck into trying to copy too much.”

Interview with James Fenwick, member of the Art department and an independant artist What inspires you to create art?

“Usually just the world around me. I work a lot with natural imagery so spending time outdoors and finding unusual forms and objects can help stir ideas. Also music is great for inspiration - anything punk, hardcore and angsty with a bit of an opinion on what’s going on in the world gets you in the mood to create something with attitude!”

What is your style of art? What made you choose that style?

“I work mainly with digital illustration. I completed a degree in illustration and experimented with very traditional drawing techniques, but as I started working in industry I noticed digital work was on the rise and was quicker and cleaner to make.”

What advice would you give to young artists?

Try to work in as many different ways as possible until you find something you really enjoy – not just something that you’ve copied. There’s no rush to try and become a big “famous artist” or have a recognised style of working early on. The work I make now looks nothing like the work I was making when I was at College, give yourself time to grow and learn new skills.”

I interviewed a young artist from Australia, Emma Neill, to find out about her experience when it comes to her art.

What is your favourite/least favourite medium? Why? “My favourite medium at the moment is oil paints, and my least favourite medium is clay sculpting.”

What inspires you?

“My inspiration for my art is usually from the world around me or other artists that I see in galleries or on platforms such as Instagram.”

Who are your favourite artists? What do you like about them?

“I don’t have favourite artists, but I do enjoy going to art galleries and seeing paintings created by old masters.”

What is your style of art? What made you choose that style?

“I’m still experimenting with my style, I’m starting to get into oil paints but I will have to see where that takes my style.”

How long does it usually take you to create a piece of art?

“It usually takes me anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks to create a piece.”

Who are your favourite artists? What do you like about them?

“Some of my favourite illustrators are Richey Beckett, John Dyer Baizley, Ken Taylor and Teagan White to name a few. They all have worked in film and music and inspired me to pursue those kind of freelance jobs. They all use a lot of naturalistic, baroque imagery and their work contains a sense of mythology with a modern spin.”

Have you always loved art or did you come to love it later on in your life?

“I have always loved art, ever since I was young.”

How long does it usually take you to create a piece of art?

“For commission work I usually get between 1-2 weeks to get the final artwork finished and delivered but sometimes it needs to be done in 2 days! I try to get a single piece of work finished within a week otherwise I start losing interest.”

How much of your day do you allocate to art? What motivates you to do this?

“I aim to do something art related everyday, usually at least an hour or more.”

What is your process? Has this ever changed/improved?

“I usually get the brief and start researching into any ideas before mocking up a few rough thumbnail sketches. We look at the ideas which are strongest and then I get to work producing the final artwork. I usually collect all reference imagery before starting the final work and spend a lot of time deciding on composition and how different imagery interlinks and works together. My process has definitely improved over the years, I’ve got a lot quicker and have got a stronger eye for recording accurately but this has all come through repetition and practice.”

Have you always loved art or did you come to love it later on in your life?

“I’ve always been interested in art and have been drawing since I was really young. I’ve had some amazing opportunities and worked with companies such as the BBC, PopShot, Paramount Film, Sky, NME and DIY. Over the last 3 years I’ve worked mainly with the Warner Music merchandising team to produce work for Arctic Monkeys, Wolfmother, Foals, Biffy Clyro and Coldplay. It’s difficult to make a full-time living off freelancing so I got into teaching art and graphics about 6 years ago and have been passionate about it since. I much prefer working with young people to realise their own potential and develop ideas.”

What advice would you give to young artists?

“I am a young artist myself but I would say draw/paint as much as possible - that’s how I improved. Trial and error is very important and I believe this is what has helped me improve the most.”

What is your favourite/least favourite medium? Why? “Probably any form of painting. I don’t have a patience for it and I’m a much better draughtsman than a painter.”

How much of your day do you allocate to art? What motivates you to do this?

“Not enough. I spend a few hours a week sketching and recording ideas and thoughts, sometimes they’ll go further or be saved for other pieces of work that may come along in the future. I spend more time browsing things like Instagram or Behance just to check out what’s currently going on in industry – it’s good to know who’s doing what, who’s giving out commissions and what current trends are happening to help push your own ideas along.

Whether you are interested in starting to create art or have already been doing so for years, it’s never too late to experiment with different styles and mediums to see which you don’t like and which you find the easiest and the most enjoyable to use.”

An opinion piece Fur may look pretty on a coat but have you ever stopped to think about where it came from? Whether it came from a high street shop or a designer brand, it has caused suffering – and taken away a life. Animals on fur farms spend their whole life confined and trapped in small dirty wire cages and don’t get the chance to live a healthy life like they would have done in the wild.

Fur farmers may use the cruellest and cheapest methods of killing available and these include gas, poison, suffocation and electrocution. Eighty-five percent of the fur industry’s skins come from animals that were trapped in fur farms, where many were electrocuted and sometimes even skinned alive. One billion rabbits are killed each year just so their fur can be used to make clothes or the finishing trim on accessories like bags.

Every year millions of animals are killed for the clothing industry all in the name of fashion. These fashion pieces could come from the Australian outback or the Indian slaughterhouses but in every fur coat or leather belt you buy, an immeasurable amount of suffering has gone in to it.

Not only do fur farms affect the animals within it massively, they also have an impact on the environment. Millions of pounds of faeces are produced annually by the U.S. mink farms alone. Furthermore, this results in rivers and streams being polluted with the 1,000 tonnes of phosphorus from said waste.

However, many fashion brands and retailers are realising the huge negative impact fur farming has on both the animal and the environment and are parting ways with fur.

In December last year, Chanel decided finally to not use fur anymore and has become cruelty free due to ethical reasons.

They are not alone though, since 2016 many other high end brands such as Gucci, Burberry and Michael Kors have also taken the fur free approach and stopped designing items that are based around fur. Another step forward for cruelty free garments is that London Fashion Week has announced that no fur would be featured in any collection.

Nowadays, we have unlimited choices when it comes to fashion and production of materials such as fur, wool and leather has risen due to the high demand. This is simply unacceptable. We can find alternative ways to still look fashionable but without causing unnecessary harm to the animals. For example, faux leather today is almost indistinguishable from real leather but doesn’t put an animal’s life at risk. Or you could buy wool alternatives such as organic cotton. If this is too costly there is the option to buy second hand wool as there is no shortage of cute vintage jumpers. Change starts with us! Therefore we should try harder to protect animal rights and choose alternative fabrics as we have the choice to do so. It’s not too late to protect animals.

So let’s start now.

There is no doubt about it that Huddersfield Town’s history is legendary. To be the first team in the top division to win the title three times in a row has got to count for something, of course it has. That’s why the three stars are there over the badge… to show pride.

The last four seasons for Town, including the last one, have been a rollercoaster. To finish 19th and just escape relegation to division 1, to being promoted with David Wagner to the Premier League the next season, just didn’t seem real. However, it was real and we had to believe it because before we knew it we were in the Premier League.

Personally for me, the best part about this was when Town beat Crystal Palace in the first match of the season.

This stands out massively as people had already written Huddersfield off before even playing, so to come out and win against a really good team made viewers secondguess themselves. HTFC were officially named the underdogs that day and that name stuck throughout the rest of the season as we fought to stay up – and survived. It was good just to prove everybody wrong who went against Town before they had even seen them play.

This season, however, Huddersfield Town has not been so lucky. This has been determined through the recent confirmation of relegation.

Nobody would think any different though as the stadium is always full and loud with the atmosphere feeling electric. From what I have heard around the stadium, fans are happy and are just waiting for next season to start. There is no other feeling in the world than being amongst the crowd of your favourite football team. Nothing can describe it.

Being no closer to finding a topic I turned to my dog for some ideas to write about.

Luckily, my mum had the great idea of Kody. A black and white lolloping Border Collie with the sort of blue eyes that make him ‘aww’ worthy. This galumphing fool enjoys long walks on the leash and, in his spare time, shouting at lampshades. Brilliant. I was set and like Owen Wilson before me (you get brownie points if you got that one) I would propel my writing career forward by taking advantage of my puppy’s fleeting adorableness. They even have a rhyme for him “if you like Kody-bear wag your tail in the air” and isn’t that just delightful. People like dogs, people will read about dogs, I can write about my dog. It was then that I realised I didn’t enjoy writing about my dog and if so, then what’s the point?

At the time of trying to decide what to write about, I found a trending video on the BBC website called ‘Healthy eating: What is a correct food portion?’ from the BBC’s health reporter Laura Foster.

She starts off by recklessly throwing a measuring scale to the ground to show how this new system favours hands and emojis over those archaic tools. (Not that people use weighing scales to measure portion sizes but I like to imagine she felt just as rebellious).

Foster continues to talk about how you should have two handfuls of pasta per serving but warned that spaghetti was a different playing field all-together and the ‘ok’ emoji should be applied where the spaghetti (a difficult task cooked but you’ll have to manage) fills the hole created by your index finger and thumb. It goes on about cheese and cereal portions too but you get the gist of it.

My first issue was how obviously you have smaller/bigger hands than anyone else but they covered this by saying that smaller people will require less and will have smaller hands; conversely a larger person would work the same.

So each person’s portions are specific to their hand size. Does that mean that at tea time my family and I have to reach into the boiled pot of pasta and fight for fistfuls of macaroni? My mum instead opts for the controversial spoon method because she cares about hygiene and civilised eating. This also raised questions about measuring mash, beans, and anything else you can’t exactly handle. The BBC have really cracked the case on obesity with this foolproof method that completely works… as long as you are alone, only consume finger food, and like miming emojis!

Any creative endeavour should be seen as a passion project because if you’re not enjoying it then no one else will.

The handful is great for measuring rice and pasta ­– two things which probably catch people out the most. The correct portion for pasta is two handfuls. A single handful is also a good way to measure out portions of vegetables and fruit. It can also be used for cereal which catches people out because you’re mostly half-asleep when you eat it.

It’s recommended that you take no more than three handfuls of the stuff.

Thumbs are a good way to measure out cheese. One portion is two thumbs-worth.

You have to care about what you write otherwise the task becomes utterly fruitless. I’ve lived my life on the basis that everything I do should further people’s enjoyment be it my own or anyone else’s. If you’re heart isn’t in it then neither should your head. My dad wanted me to pursue Science but I chose my options based on what I enjoyed doing; being creative.

Interestingly, this whole passion stuff is also what I based my first poem on which means the formula works a treat or I’m not very good at this writing malarkey. Either way it’s been a hoot. Thanks for sticking to the end!

mangled work and the caption “Going, going, gone…” He also captioned it with a quote from Picasso, “The urge to destroy is a creative urge” to justify his actions.

Banksy: art’s greatest mystery.

We analyse and admire each piece of work, hoping that something will lead us back to his identity but each time he leaves us running around in circles, while he is probably just another person in the crowd, laughing at us.

The artwork itself is now a new, original piece, titled “Love is in the Bin”. At first, the buyer was shocked when she saw her new investment shred to pieces, but she now accepts that she has “my own piece of art history.” Not only this but art experts also claim that Banksy’s shredded work is worth more now than when it was intact, as destroying an iconic piece as it is auctioned is a first in the art world.

Saying this, Banksy may have been closer to the people at Sotheby’s auction in London than we thought when his iconic ‘Girl with Balloon’ painting was auctioned for £1.04 million and then intentionally shredded in front of the shocked audience. As the hammer hit the gavel, the painting disappeared through the frame and came out of the other side in pieces. Sotheby’s claim to have had no knowledge of Banksy’s plan to shred the painting, and commented that they were as equally shocked as the audience were.

The following week, Banksy confirmed that sabotaging his own hard work had been the original plan for the painting, if it were ever sold, and he uploaded a video to Instagram of him fitting a shredder into the frame, with a picture of the

Girl With Balloon, which shredded itself after being sold for more than £1 million at auction.

The global response has been surprisingly positive, with the journalist Jonathan Jones praising Banksy for highlighting issues surrounding the modern art world: “Art is being choked to death by money.”

Banksy has done a lot more than sabotage the ‘UK’s Most Beloved Work of Art’, he has shown the world, yet again that art comes in many different forms and there is not one way to create art.

Fashion is increasingly becoming more gender neutral; and this itself correlates with the gender stereotypes, which are written into English history.

Throughout history, women have stereotypically worn dresses, having to wear corsets or petticoats under their dresses to achieve a certain physique, such as the hourglass. An example of

extreme gender stereotypes in fashion is foot binding prevalent in Chinese history, with the desirable foot size translating into whether you were a suitable bride, and it remained a huge status symbol to have small feet.

This of course was similar to the Victorian period where the ideal women had the Victorian Wasp Waist, with corsets

often placed on young children and for the remainder of their life. Even through pregnancy a woman was required to wear a corset, with special pregnancy corsets available.

Corsets ended up leaving lasting effects on the skeleton, deforming the ribs and maligning the spine.

Discussions about the corset being detrimental to women’s health came to a head in the 19th century. Fashion historians Valerie Steele and Colleen Gau have argued that while corseted women may indeed have suffered from depleted lung volume and changes in breathing patterns, this would not necessarily have led to respiratory diseases, but may have caused fainting and lowered vitality.

Historically, for men, suits remained the norm and to this day, it is not the social norm for men to wear skirts or dresses.

Yet, ironically, men wearing skirts and tunics is typical in many historical periods; for example, they were useful when fighting in combat. So, what changed?

This comes down to the evolution of tailoring, with men starting to wear stockings or hose. It mainly changed in the 19th century, this is to do with “breeching” when boys were given their first pair of trousers to show they had gone beyond infancy. This, and the perception of what a ‘man’ is and wears changed, make skirts less popular.

Today we see more of a shift towards a more gender-neutral fashion industry.

John Lewis are a prime example of this, in 2017 they removed boys and girls labels from children’s clothes, which of course proved controversial. Many argue, that this genderless fashion leads to children being confused about their gender.

However, the freedom of being able to express who you are should not be restricted by whether a boy can wear nail polish or a skirt. These stereotypes should not shape us or fashion. There is a still long way to come, in moving forward from these restrictive gender stereotypes in clothes, whilst also embracing femininity and masculinity in a way that is not restrictive, nor toxic.

Recently, the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a warning to the world: we have 12 years left before the planet increases in temperature by 1.5°C, and, in short, it can’t get any warmer.

If it does, the changes global warming causes will not only worsen, but become irreversible. Ice caps will melt even more than they already have, causing sea levels to rise from 33 to hundreds of feet, rising flood rates and destroying animal habitats, crops and civilisations as a consequence. We will experience weather so extreme we will forget what “normal” weather was like before.

Coral reefs will be destroyed, forest fires will multiply, food shortages could become common – and all of this destruction because of our hesitance to act.

However, if we act now, we can make changes that could save our planet. We may not be able to stop people driving, or shut down factories utilising harmful fossil fuels, but there are some small changes we can all make to our lives to make a difference.

Here’s how you can play your part in tackling the crisis.

Food Eat less meat and dairy products, and buy more locally sourced food.

Animal agriculture is responsible for the production of more greenhouse gases and water pollution than any other business in the world.

Producing a single beef burger uses enough fossil fuels to power a car to drive for miles, while most of the sheer amount of waste produced on animal farms often finds its way into oceans and rivers.

By eating less meat, you reduce your carbon footprint – the amount of C02 released into the atmosphere because of you – and limit the damage caused to the ozone layer.

Buy food locally rather than at a supermarket, as it has travelled less to get to you, and has produced less C02.

Urgent changes are needed to cut risk of extreme heat, drought, floods and poverty, according to the IPCC 2018.

In the 2017 general election, only 57% of young people used their vote. This was in contrast to the 84% turnout amongst adults over the age of 70. Though showing an overall increase in youth turnout, and suggesting that more young people are beginning to use their voice, it shows that young people are still less likely to vote than older people.

A tumble dryer costs around £80- £90 to run per year. Save energy and money by hanging your clothes out on a washing line to dry, or on a rack indoors in colder months.

In addition, waste less food.

Processing food waste also produces greenhouse gases.

Get a recycling bin, only cook what you need, and throw less food away.

If possible, thoroughly insulate your home. This will help keep your house warm, and therefore you use central heating less, using less energy and producing less greenhouse gases.

Transport

You could also power your home with renewable energy.

For example, by installing solar panels.

Cars are the biggest source of greenhouse gas production.

Drive electric cars, walk, cycle, or take public transport instead.

It is recommended you take trains instead of planes for travelling long distances, as trains use less fuel and produce less harmful gases.

Make these slight adjustments to elements of your everyday life, and you’re on your way to combatting global warming!

This can have a significant impact on the overall voice of young people in the country.

Even though most College students will not be old enough to vote yet, everybody can register to vote via a very short and simple process. This is the first step to using your voice and helping to make a difference.

How can you register? If you want to register to vote, the process is very easy and will only take about five minutes. Simply go to the website www.gov.uk, follow the link to ‘Citizenship and Living in the UK’ and then select ‘Voting’. You may need your National Insurance number and passport to complete the form but nothing else is required. It is important to remember that it is only essential to register once – you don’t need to register for every opportunity to vote.

Whilst the world of elections, referendums and politicians may not be interesting to you, it’s still very important that you use your voice and power and have a say. Without using your vote effectively, the Government can easily ignore the interests of you and those with similar interests. Politicians know that, statistically, young people are less likely to vote than others, which means that, when creating their manifestos, they won’t take the needs of the young into account.

University tuition fees, affordable housing, access to work; these issues can easily be ignored by politicians, if young people don’t apply the necessary pressure.

Registering to vote will only take a few minutes out of your day and will provide you with an opportunity to use your voice and have a say.
