Easter Raffle
Have you entered the raffle to win the huge chocolate Easter bunny yet plus lots more Easter treats? There are still some squares left to buy. Please send in £1 per square in a named envelope.
Easter Service
Our whole school Easter Service will be on Tuesday 26th March at 9 am at St. Oswald’s Church. Pupils should be dropped off at church between 8:458:55am. If your child is in Breakfast Club, they will be walked down to church at 8:30am by members of staff. We will all walk back to school after the service.
Arrival at Sch
Easter Bingo Fund-Raiser
Don’t forget to buy your Bingo games ticket which is now available on Parent Pay. £3 for 6 games and we have lots of Easter egg prizes to be won!
We will be playing in family groups split over 2 afternoons so that the older pupils can support the younger ones.
On the opposite afternoon, the children will be taking part in Easter craft activities, also in family groups.
This is open to pupils from Reception upwards.
May Day Event in Preesall
Preesall Town Council have organised another family event for Saturday 6th May at Preesall Park. We have been asked to perform a Maypole dance! Miss Gemma is hoping to start rehearsals in the last week of term so she is currently recruiting! If your child has shown an interest, they should bring a letter home. After Easter rehearsals will be on the first 3 Fridays, after school, before the event.
Parents are welcome to attend the service.
Just a reminder that p at school before 8:50a attending Breakfast Cl before 8:45am will be Club and parents will b session
Nursery pupils will not be involved.
Spring Raffle
Please don’t forget to sell your raffle tickets! The first prize draw for pupils who have returned their stubs and money will be next Friday in Celebration Assembly. If anyone is able to source a raffle prize or has connections with anyone who you think may be willing to donate us a prize, please get in touch - we would be very grateful!
Coding Club
Next half-term we have a company called Vantage Education coming in to deliver a coding club for pupils in Years 3-6. This will be on Tuesdays after school for 6 weeks. If you think your child would like to attend, please email Mrs Gladwin.

Friday 22nd March – Rock Steady Concert (for parents of pupils who have lessons or anyone who is interested in seeing what is involved)
25th March – Year 5 and 6 visit to Blackburn Cathedral/Easter Bingo and crafts (pm)
26th March – Easter Service at St. Oswald’s Church 9am –(parents welcome) Easter Bingo and crafts (pm)
28th March – school closes for Easter holidays at 1:30pm
Thursday 18th April – Parents’ Evening 3:40-6:30pm
27th April – Spring Fair in school 2-4pm
