Extended Learning Menus

All pupils should now have received this halfterm’s learning menu which contains a range of interesting and creative tasks linked to the curriculum.

Our aim is for all pupils to complete at least some of their tasks which will be shared with their class in the last week of term. If you have not seen a copy, there will be one on the school website on the class page.

Mothering Sunday Service:

We need some pupils to take part in this service at St. Oswald’s Church – please email Mrs Gladwin if your child can take part. Families, especially Mums, are welcome to attend

Comic Relief:

On Friday 15th March we will be asking you to donate to Comic Relief through a dedicated Just Giving Page. Pupils are being asked to dress in red and we will be hosting a crazy hair competition. We will not be selling the official red noses in school but they can be purchased on Amazon or on the Comic Relief website We will be looking at some of the causes supported by Comic Relief and how the fundraising helps different groups of people

Intervention:

This term we have put additional intervention slots into the timetable as well as an afterschool intervention club to enable us to focus on boosting pupils who are working below the expected standard for their year group. If your child is invited to attend an after-school club, please ensure they attend. The class teachers will be sending home a letter next week to let you know which interventions your child is taking part in. If you are able to support this work at home, it will have a greater impact win.
