We will develop our chronological understanding using timelines to identify the different periods of the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.

First, we will be learning about the different types of teeth and their functions. We will then describe the basic parts of the digestive system in humans and how they work to break down and digest food. Finally, we will be constructing and interpreting a variety of food chains, identifying producers, predators and prey.

PE: Gymnastics will be taught by WLSP. Athletics will be taught by teachers.

Music:

This half term the focus element is pitch. In this unit the children will focus on listening to many different styles of music, singing and playing the glockenspiel to Lean on Me.

Wider opportunities (instrument focus). Over the year, children will have the opportunity to experience different instruments each term.
