It has been another busy week in the life of Churchtown Primary! We started the week by wearing odd socks to mark the start of anti-bullying week, which led all classes to partake in planned curriculum work around this. Please have a look on Facebook to see some of the activities the children have been doing. The week has culminated in our charity fundraising for Children in Need, thank you for supporting this! We even had a fun packed visit from Pudsey to some of the classes. Yesterday, we took the school council to The Waterfront Hotel in Southport. They worked alongside school councils from other Southport schools to help design, plan and create ideas for the Marine Lake Regeneration project. Architects and planners from Sefton spoke to the children and assisted their design creations. The power of the schools working together and networking was evident, plus they were treated to a delicious lunch! We are very proud of our school council and how they represented our school. Have a lovely weekend – Mrs Payne!
