Football News! On Tuesday Mr McDonald and Mrs Warrington took our new Y5/6 Football Team to the JMO for their first fixtures of the year. They played 5 games and at the end had drawn 3 (incredibly unlucky not to have won 2 of them!) won one and lost one. The scores were: 0-0, 1-1, 1-1, 2-1 (W) and 1-2 (L). The team played brilliantly and really supported each other throughout, showing some real 'Bishop Martin Spirit' and we were incredibly proud of all of them! The team were: Dylan Beddoes, Brayden Hughes, Stephen McLeod, Reece Webster, Niah Edwards, Jaden Kelly, Alix Newell, Dylan Barnes, Alfie Murphy and Kyle Blackwell-Price. Well done team!

Hygiene

We have had some children absent with diarrhoea and vomiting. Please help us prevent more illness by washing hands frequently using warm water and a liquid soap, especially after using the toilet and before eating or preparing foods. When you have washed your hands dry them thoroughly. If anyone is unfortunate enough to contract the virus please ensure a clear 48 hours has passed since the last episode of sickness or diarrhoea before returning to school.
