Dear Reception, Firstly, well done for how brave you have been. Even though I have not been able to see most of you, I am so proud of how you have handled not being able to do all of your favourite things like going to the park, and coming to school to see your friends and teachers! Me, Mrs Brown, Mrs Jeremy and Mrs Stott have missed you so much, and can’t wait to see you all. If you are coming back to school, I know you might be wondering what it will be like, so I am going to tell you a little bit about what to expect. We are going to be in a bubble! It doesn’t mean that we will be floating around, but it does mean that there will be fewer children in our class. This is so we have more space in our classroom, and we are not all squashed in an area. You will be able to play with your friends but we won’t be able to hug or kiss them. We will stay together all day, even for dinner and playtimes, and won’t be able to be near children in other classes. We are going to try to keep ourselves, and our belongings clean! We are going to wash our hands when we arrive at school, and stop at different times during the day to do it again. We will also try and keep our toys clean by not putting them in our mouths, and we will swap them on different days. We will try not to touch each other’s belongings, like our water bottles and our lunch boxes. You won’t be wearing your uniform so please ask a grownup to put your name in everything, so that we don’t get confused!
