Our fairs allow students to meet a wide range of universities, HE institutions and apprenticeship providers from all over the UK. We provide the perfect platform for students to receive inspiration, advice and guidance so they can make informed decisions about their future.

We are delighted to invite you and your students to our Spring UK University & Apprenticeship Search Fair at Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium. The fair will take place on Friday 7th February 2020 between 9:30am and 2:00pm.

Our Manchester fair is the perfect way for students to choose which university or apprenticeship is right for them.

Admission is free for all students, teachers and guardians. The event is targeted at Year 12s, undecided Year 13s and is also fantastic to help motivate and inspire Year 11s.

This informative event will provide attendees with the opportunity to speak to representatives from Russell Group, Red Brick and Modern universities. Students will also be able to talk to a wide range of the UK’s best apprenticeship providers, HE colleges, specialist institutions, and student related organisations.

The event caters for students of all ability ranges, aiming to both widen participation and support higher academic achievers.

What makes our events special?

Emphasis on Exploration – We have a vast range of university, apprenticeship and career

representatives at our events. We celebrate the different pathways young people can take and are proud to present a real selection of options. Every student is unique, so our events are designed to equip each student with the knowledge to carve their own individual plan for the future.

Student Support – With seminars, brochures and the invaluable opportunity to engage with our exhibitors, pupils receive an excellent level of help and attention to guide them through their options.

Venue – By holding our events at sporting venues we provide a more exciting and inspirational backdrop.

Options Guide – All attendees receive a guide, written largely by current university students and recent graduates. This is a very useful resource to take away with them, aiding their decision making beyond the fair.

Teachers and Coordinators – We listen. Your comments and suggestions will be taken on

board and implemented. You are supported by your assigned liaison manager – you’ll receive regular updates and have the opportunity to get in touch whenever you need to. We also ensure that teachers are looked after on the day by providing them with their own area with complimentary tea/ coffee, as well as a lunch voucher.

Two large exhibition halls full of universities, apprenticeship providers and higher education institutions. Includes Russell Group, Modern Universities and specialist providers.

Personal Statement Seminars Focusing on the UCAS application process.

Special Features

Teachers’ Lounge Teachers will have their own relaxation area with free tea/ coffee and WiFi, as well as a £5 snack voucher.

Event Magazine Every student will be provided with an event day magazine.

This features the full seminar schedule and sections regarding applying for apprenticeship and advice on UCAS applications.

The magazine also includes advice articles by university students and apprentices.

Demonstrations A number of exhibitors will provide interactive features for students to get involved with.

Bookings and Further Information For further information or to book a group of students to come along to the event:

Email – jude@ukuniversitysearch.co.uk Phone – 020 7609 4254 You can provisionally book a group of students by simply emailing or calling. This provisional booking can be amended and confirmed at a later date.

We recommend students spend approximately 2 ½ hours at the event. We allocate arrival slots, so let us know what time you would like to arrive. We will endeavour to accommodate you at your desired time, but please be aware that timeslots are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

A health and safety assessment is available on request.

Once your booking is confirmed we shall send a link which will enable your students to register and receive their e-tickets.
