£1199 per school but offered free of charge 0 • Power English Writing is a brand new KS2 resource to encourage children to develop their writing by drawing on their own interests and ideas, with an evidence based process that places an emphasis on creativity alongside the technical aspects of writing. Children are encouraged to draw on own experience and interest to write, create and improve their skills. A strong sense of agency and development of the writing process to plan, draft, edit and publish their work will help children go deeper and learn to love writing. The aim of this approach is to make every child a writer! •

Each school will be provided with full access for this academic year to the online resources for the whole of KS2 which include front of class resources and activities, teaching guides with structured lesson plans and mini lessons and an interactive online planner. Each school needs to choose a year group to focus on in order to report back, but are free to implement across as many year groups as they wish. A print teacher guide and ‘Tips and Tricks’ cards for the nominated year group will be provided A free joint half day CPD training session will be provided for all project schools.
