Future Leaders Duration: 2 years Accreditation: options to complete NPQH (application fee of £150 for this) Cost: usually £3,000 but we have a few places available for £1,500 in total Brief: The Future Leaders Programme is our two-year intensive, transformative, accelerated and very selective leadership development programme for senior leaders who aim to become a Headteacher of a school in challenging context within two to three years. Development pathways: - Experience of evidence of impact (impact programme) - Mastery of specific technical skills - Mastery of leadership behaviours to be an outstanding HT, working in a school in a challenging context Curriculum: - Blended learning approach (face-to face sessions, online learning, study tours, school placements) - Personalised support (access to 360 reports, Talent Q, viva assessment) - Opportunity to achieve the NPQH (£150 extra) Time commitments: Two residentials (Year 1= 6 days & 5 nights, Year 2 = 4 days & 3 nights) A Vision and Values weekend (2 days & 2 nights) 5 Cohort weekends (2 days & 1 night each) Regional learning days (3 – in year one only) 6 mentoring sessions per year (~ 1 hour per session) 6 coaching sessions per year (~ 1 hour per session) School placements (x1 each year, length depending on NPQH completion) Study tour - second year of programme, 2 days Participation in Peer Learning Group meetings (x3 per year, ~ 2 hours each) Commitment to use of developmental tools Independent tasks and study (approx. 3.5 hours a month) Total of approximately 25 days training is available
