Educating Children with Down Syndrome Monday 24th June 2019 Historically children with Down syndrome would have automatically been educated in special schools. In the last decade however, more children have been able to attend their ordinary local schools and this has not only been positive for children with Down syndrome, but for education more broadly. This course is underpinned by a recognition of the value of having learners with Down syndrome in our schools.
