We know it's a difficult time, especially following the PM's updates on Sunday.

However, whilst we await further guidance we would really appreciate your feedback and suggestions of how we can support our schools on the next step.

The School Bus continue to be an excellent platform for resources and information.

This could be a particularly good time to get involved as people are researching and implementing the use of great platforms, not to mention sharing them online.

The Hay Festival have been funded by the Welsh Government to create the festival online this year. The festival runs from 18-22nd of May and will include daily workshops with numerous popular illustrators and authors, presented by Konnie Huq. Thank A Teacher Day is back next week - 20/05/20 and we are super excited! It would be amazing if our schools could come together to create something fun and full of joy. We would love to do a group video perhaps or sing a song between us. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Expect to hear from us with a master plan. Courses/CPD Available

Just make sure you are aware that the NPQ scholarships are back and in exactly the same format as before for the Autumn term start. If a staff member applied last term and missed out on the scholarship funding they can contact best practice now and secure their place for September. As part of Best Practice’s BIG THANK YOU initiative for school staff they have made two of their modules free to everyone.

The modules are: - Pedagogy and Practice from the Teaching toolkit - Understanding SEND from the SEND toolkit The modules amount to 12 hours of free CPD.
