This does not include the money the classes made on their stalls, as that was part of an enterprise activity where they get to keep their profit and spend it as a class. Money raised from the summer fair will be used for the benefit of the pupils. Thank you to everyone who attended and a big ‘shout out’ to the parent consultation group and parents, grandparents and staff who helped. MR OSBORNE - will be leaving us at the end of term. He has a new job, supporting young adults with specific needs in a residential setting. We wish him all the best in his new role. TRAYS - have been brought home today. Please could these be washed and the labels removed. Trays need to be brought back to school on Monday. YEAR 6 - pupils have been on their 3 day transition to St Edmund Arrowsmith. This culminated in a fantastic Let’s Sing concert at Robin Park on Wednesday evening. OZZIE’S GOT TALENT - was held on Thursday morning - the winners will be announced at our school end of year celebration assembly. FRENCH BREAKFAST - The children have dressed in red, white and blue today and enjoyed a French breakfast of croissants, brioche and French bread with jam or chocolate spread all washed down with milkshake or orange juice. WIGAN AND LEIGH HOSPICE - Congratulations to Olivia, Phoebe, Annie, Katie and Emma who fundraised for Wigan and Leigh Hospice and raised £102.60. Well done! LEAVERS’ PRODUCTION - is on Tuesday evening in the school hall starting at 7.00pm. If you are a parent/carer of a Y6 pupil and haven’t let us know numbers of people attending please could you do so on Monday. This will assist us in catering accurately for the champagne and strawberries. Thank you. TOAST - if you wish your child to have toast at playtime in the autumn term, the cost for the first half- term will be £10.20 payable on Tuesday 4th September. DINNERS - Dinner money for the first half of the autumn term is £74.80 and payable on Tuesday 4 th September. SUMMER HOLIDAYS - School closes at 3.30pm on Wednesday 18th July and re-opens to the pupils on Tuesday 4th September at 8.50am prompt. We hope you all have a happy and safe holiday and look forward to welcoming you back in the new academic year.
