Friday 13th July Wednesday Word – LISTENING Twitter - @saintoswalds THIS WEEK – During our Come and See sessions we have completed work on the creation story and the words that God said 'indeed it is very good'. WEEKLY CHALLENGE – Thank you for all your support this year on completing the weekly challenges. We will not be sending home any homework or reading books for the rest of the term. READING FOLDERS - Please could you return any outstanding reading folders by Monday, we will be changing the reading book and passing their reading bag up to their next class teacher so that they have it in school at the start of September. We will be sending home some sounds and words for the children to work on over the summer break. Please keep these ticking over with the children so that they do not forget all that they have learned. Help them to read and write them in sentences. As always, keep reading their own storybooks with them. Can they spot some of the words in these stories or try reading some of them by themselves? Can they answer questions about the story? OZZIES GOT TALENT – The children enjoyed watching our Ozzie’s Got Talent show. The children from reception tried very hard and were very brave. SUMMER FAIR – Thank you for all the support you gave us during the school summer fair. As a Foundation stage, we raised £155 and the children have decided that they would like to treat themselves to either an ice cream, milk shake or ice-lolly. Next week we will be going to Blend ‘n’ Shake to spend our money.
