If a child misses 8 days or more a year they will not achieve 96% this is reportable to Lancashire County Council and may result in a Penalty Notice being issued. Please ensure your children are in school every day and on time. School starts at 8.55am. LUNCH OPTIONS FOR LATE ARRIVALS The dinner register closes at 9.25 in order that the kitchen staff can provide the hot dinners chosen by pupils. Any pupil arriving after 9.25am will only be able to order either a jacket potato or a sandwich.

They are driving an old Honda Civic 1800 miles to Benidorm via Tours and Biarritz in France, through to Madrid then finally ending up in Benidorm to raise money for the NSPCC.
We have had a non-uniform ‘Wear Something Green’ day, to show support and raise funds! We have raised an amazing £141. Dave Fendle, Chair of Governors at the school said, “I’m so proud of the children coming out to support the NSPCC today, they’ve done a brilliant job and this is a great start to our journey.” Dave and Paul are dressed as Dangermouse and Penfold from the hit cartoon and hope to raise over £500 on their trip. The annual Drowning Prevention Week campaign will run between Monday 18th June – Monday 25th June 2018. The campaign, created by the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) and this year run in partnership with the RNLI and Swim England which aims to reduce the number of drowning and neardrowning incidents that occur, by showing people how to be safe near water. Next week in 3.15 Club we are ‘Getting out and about!’ We will be making the most of the lovely weather and combining our ‘Gardening’ and ‘World Cup’ themes. On ‘Make your own snack Monday’ we will enjoy edible dirt and worms. Mmmmm!! On Friday we will be hosting a ‘Beat the Teacher Penalty Shoot Out’. Gooooaaaaaallll!!!
