Accepting emails , IM messages opening files ,pictures or texts from people you don’t know or trust can lead to problems- they contain viruises or nasty messages.

MEET

Meeting someone you have only been in touch online can be dangerous. Only do when you et permission from your parents or carers permission and even then only when they can be a present.

RELIABLE

Information you find on the internet may not be true ,or someone online may be lying about they are.

Personal information

Do not give out personal information without your parents permission. This Means you should not share your last name, home address, school name or Tele phone number .Remember , just because someone asks you information that DOESN’T mean you don’t have to tell them.

When creating your screen name ,do not include person information, like your last name or date of birth.
