NEWSLETTER WEEK ENDING 9TH MARCH 2018 WEDNESDAY WORD – SELF-GIVING CLASSES 1G AND 1K - assembly took place this morning. The theme was Mother’s Day and the children told all the wonderful things about their Mums and said a big thank you to them for all they do. They presented their mum with a daffodil to take home. Thank you to all our visitors who attended. CLASS 3 - assembly is next Friday March 16th at 9.10am in the school hall. All family and friends are welcome. HOLY HOUR - Y4, Y5 and Y6 pupils attended Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at St Oswald’s Church on Tuesday morning. Deacon Paul conducted a child-friendly service which included prayers, a mimed Gospel and hymns. Photographs are on our website, twitter and flickr. PARENT INTERVIEW - Thank you to everyone who attended the Parent Interviews. We hope you found them informative. Schools are required to send home one annual report and offer one parent interview each year. We aim to provide parents with as much information as possible about their child’s progress and attainment and so we offer, in addition, two interim reports, three parent interviews, opportunities to see your child’s work each term after class assemblies and our staff are available for appointments on request. CAKE SALE FOR THE GOOD SHEPHERD - cakes will be on sale again on Monday and then for the rest of the week until they are sold out. They cost 10p with all proceeds going to the Good Shepherd. Next week it is classes 3, 4 and 9 that are selling cakes. EASTER RAFFLE - Please keep sending in raffle prizes - these tickets are being sold daily to children for 10p.
