Lomeshaye Life As we come to the end of another great week at school it is time to look back on some of the wonderful things that have happened and share our news. This week our attendance is 93.1% for the whole school. This is below our target and due to the high numbers of pupil illness over the last week. Please do your best to get your children back to school as soon as they are well enough, to help us to meet our target of 96%. Park Primary Twinning— This week has been very busy for our Year 3 and 4 pupils and their friends at Park Primary school. We welcomed Year 4 pupils to Lomeshaye and our Year 3 went to Park Primary to complete joint projects together and get to know children from different backgrounds.
Young Voices— On Thursday evening our Young Voices School Choir performed at the MEN Arena in Manchester as part of a 5,870 strong Young Voices Choir with schools from all over the North West. They had a fantastic time singing the songs that they have been practising since September, performing with a world famous conductor and live band and also enjoying performances by singers and dance troops. What an amazing memory they have made.
Friday Assembly— Don’t forget to come along to our Celebration Assembly each Friday morning at 9am. Next week will be the attendance raffle too so two lucky winners, who have had outstanding attendance this month, will win cinema tickets!
