routines, including some recreational activities to balance their hard work. Attendance at the compulsory revision sessions in school and a healthy perspective on all that they do from now until the end of the examination season is essential. Examination results will be available for collection from 9.00 on Thursday 25 August. If a pupil is unable to attend and wishes someone else to collect results on their behalf, they have been asked to see Mrs Goldsmith with a letter giving authorisation for this or alternatively they must provide a stamped, selfaddressed envelope and results will be posted on that date. As I also prepare to leave school I cannot think of a better year group to leave with, after all they were the main reason I chose to postpone my retirement when my successor was not appointed. They are a very special and unique group of young people who have made many memorable contributions to the life of St Michael’s over their five years. All staff and governors wish them every success in their GCSEs and in the future. Senior Prefects and Head Boy and Head Girl I would like to offer my gratitude to all our current Year 11 Prefects, Deputies, Sports, Dance, Drama and Music captains but in particular to Thomas Letch (Head Boy) and Milly Joy (Head Girl) for P.T.O.
