Have you given your email address to the school office staff? Receiving school letters via email ensures you receive the latest information. Please ensure you check your child’s bag regularly for letters-thank you. School Office Cash Payments.

We urgently need to reduce the number of cash payments made at the school office for pupil dinners, breakfast club, afterschool etc. We offer an online secure payment system-school gateway. This can be set up for you by the school office staff who require an email address and mobile phone number.

This saves the school office staff a lot of work and means that we are able to reduce the amount of cash kept in school. Please speak to the admin staff as soon as possible to set up your account.

Morning Late Gate.

As part of her school role, Mrs Curley has held several ‘late gates’ this week to discuss with parents reasons for pupils arriving at school after the bell.

The school bell is an indication for lessons to begin and children should be in class by this time; not arriving after it as this disrupts lessons and affects children’s learning. We appreciate that sometime children are late in exceptional circumstances; however the persistent lateness of some families is a cause for concern. Please therefore make a determined effort to get your child into class prior to the school bell at 8.55am.

Worship This Sunday, Father Glover will be crowning Our Lady at the 10.30am Mass.

This is a programme Mass for the children on the Sacramental Programme and they will be expected to attend. It is also an important time for the rest of the children across school to attend Mass. Please come along with your child and support our children and the Parish.

Welfare Family and School Together Programme- thank you to the parents, staff and volunteers for your continued support with the FAST programme. Your commitment to the programme is fantastic and I am sure the graduation during the last week will be a wonderful event.

Notice to parents in school regarding mobile phones- due to child protection requirements in schools we kindly ask parents not to use mobiles when in school. This rule applies to staff and is part of Manchester safeguarding Boards recommendations.
