19.4.16 PREVENT safeguarding session for Parents Dear Parent and Carers, As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have arranged for a guest speaker (Dean Coady) to come and talk to parents (next Tuesday morning 26th April at 9.00am) about keeping children safe from radicalisation and extremism. The session is designed to help parents and carers keep their children safe and will also provide parents and carers with information about warning signs to look out for and what to do if they are concerned about their child or someone they know. Helpful tips are also given about how they can talk to children about terrorism in a safe way and answer questions that their child may raise. The session will take place in the school hall and will be followed later in the day with a PREVENT workshops for our Year 6 pupils. The parents meeting is open to all parents in the school, however we do have a limit of 30 places which will be allocated on a first come basis. Please complete the attached slip and return it to school ASAP to book your place.
