Steve Bentley is holding a meeting in the parish hall to discuss the running of the Summer Fayre. He also hopes to elicit other ideas for different fund raising events. Please do support this meeting and Fr. Glover would also like to appeal to the various national communities who are now part of our parish to send representatives to this meeting with fresh ideas for social/fund raising events. Jesus shows us by his relationship with the disciples, that the life of his people is rooted in worshipping God together but also in social events where we have to opportunity to grow closer together and become more aware and knowledgeable of the various cultures that make up the people of God. Margaret, Bernadette and their family, offer a heartfelt thank you to all who attended the funeral mass for Susan Fox, sent messages of condolence, had masses offered and supported them in so many ways. A mass is being said for you all.
