How can I support my child at home?

Year 4 will hopefully be visiting the other schools within the MAT Year 4 have set themselves a challenge for every child to complete an hour on Lexia and an hour on RM maths each week. and teaching the circus skill they have learnt to other children.

We will then use the money we have made to organise an end of year trip for the final term.

Every child knows their username and password; please ask your teacher if you need it again.

If your child can’t access the internet at home, Mr Kenny and Miss Morris will be running an i-pad lunchtime club 3 days a week.

Health & Wellbeing

Year 4 will continue to develop their knowledge around healthy eating and lifestyles within the classroom. They will use their knowledge from the FIT2GO programme and create a food diary.

Thank you for your continued support in developing your child’s reading.

However, we still have lots of work to do so please ensure that you read at least 3 times a week with your child. Remember to ask question about the text as you read with your child.

Please continue to take any opportunity you have to practice times tables with your child. Even if it is 3 minutes a day, this will have a positive impact on their learning in Maths.
